Hurricane Irene is scheduled to side-swipe Washington DC this weekend. Even though no evacuations have been requested for our area, Mark and I decided to voluntarily evacuate… to Boston.

After being only 35 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake this week, we weren’t about to bypass a chance to experience the hurricane head-on.

I hope Brigio’s wedding is worth it!
